This book (and a later CD) is an attempt to depict units of musical sound along the lines of Schaeffer's sonic object, but with longer fragments of sound and with various verbal labels denoting the kinematics (i.e. various sensations of body movement) associated with these sound fragments. Based on subjective impressions, the goal of this UST project is to try to find a reasonable level of intersubjective consensus on various sound-related metaphors.
